amavola.com is operated by Amavola Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Companies House no. 17360496). We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website, and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference ZC217809.

1. What information we collect
Information you give us
This site has no contact forms. If you email one of the addresses listed on this site, we receive whatever you choose to send us, typically your name, email address and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
This site does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, so we do not automatically collect information about your device, browser or browsing behaviour. The only automatic data exchange is with Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when this site's fonts are loaded.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry
- To keep a record of correspondence where reasonably necessary
We do not use your information for marketing without your consent.
3. Legal basis for processing
Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries sent to us
- Contract — where your enquiry relates to a service we may provide you
4. Cookies
This site does not set cookies.
5. Third-party services
We use one third-party service on this site:
- Google Fonts — loads the web font used across the site
No form processors, analytics or advertising services run on this site.
6. International transfers
Google Fonts is provided by Google LLC, based in the United States. Loading a font from Google Fonts may transfer your IP address outside the UK. Google operates its own safeguards for this transfer under its privacy policy.
7. How long we keep your data
Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for our own record-keeping. We do not store your data in any database or third-party form service, since this site has no contact forms.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Request a portable copy of your data
To exercise any of these rights, email us at lasantha@amavola.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Newsletter
We do not currently operate an email newsletter. If we introduce one in the future, we will update this policy and only contact you with your explicit consent.
10. How to complain
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal information, you can raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent data protection authority.
- Website: ico.org.uk
- Helpline: 0303 123 1113
We would always prefer to resolve any concern directly first. Please contact us at lasantha@amavola.com before escalating to the ICO.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
